David Zapata Segura has extensive experience of over 15 years in Civil and Commercial Litigation, Banking Regulatory Law, and Economic Criminal Law. He has focused his professional practice on complex litigation, both in court and in national and international arbitration, acting as counsel for banking entities, real estate developments, and foreign investors in litigation.
He has also served on banking committees for financial entities and as a compliance officer for various trust entities. He also has experience in structuring cross-border real estate transactions.
He is also experienced in probate processes that span multiple jurisdictions, achieving excellent results for his clients.
In academia, he is a professor at the Law School of the University of Costa Rica and a trainer for several national business chambers.
