Héctor Fallas Vargas

  • Héctor Fallas has experience in both practicing law within the public sector and in private legal practice. He began his professional career at the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Commerce as a member of numerous governing bodies overseeing sanctioning processes handled by the National Consumer Commission. He has extensive experience in matters related to Consumer Rights Protection as well as compliance and verification of technical standards. As Legal Counsel for the Constitutional Chamber for several years, he successfully handled Amparo Appeals, Habeas Corpus, and Actions of Unconstitutionality, in which he also has significant experience.
  • Since 2002, he has been involved in private legal practice, initially joining Nuñez, Pino & Rojas Law Firm (now NCC Parajeles), where he became a partner in 2004.
  • In his private practice, he specializes in handling various corporate matters for companies of different sizes and industries, as well as providing personalized advice to foreign clients interested in Costa Rica as an ideal location for their businesses. His professional and personal skills have added value to our clients, who have found in him experience, dynamism, and professional loyalty.
  • He has excelled in handling matters related to Labor Law, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating national and international contracts, as well as negotiating and implementing international franchises in Costa Rica.
  • He has been actively involved in mergers and acquisitions of multinational companies in partnership with globally recognized law firms.
  • He has actively participated in formalizing credits for solidarity associations and public institutions and is an expert in designing, creating, and implementing corporate structures in Costa Rica and elsewhere. He serves as an advisor to High-Tech Information companies and is Co-Director of NCC GLOBAL SERVICES S.A., our branch in Panama City, Republic of Panama.
  • He is a Public Notary authorized to practice by the Supreme Court of Justice of Costa Rica.
